Card. Seg. di Stato concerning the convent in Todi, about 1800, and "Libro della famiglie e monasteri della Cogne. del Monte Oliveto nell' anno 1642 con i nomi dei monaci."

Giovanni Tolomei (St. Bernard Ptolomei) founded a branch of the Benedictine order at Monte Oliveto, near Siena, in 1319.
